Being a fashion editor sounds like a girl's dream come true. Was it the same for you?
Actually yes. As a little girl, I wanted to be someone else, but then came the film phenomenon called The Devil Wears Prada, and the desire to be a part of a female editor was awakened in me. I remember how my mom, while flipping through one of the magazines, was melting over the expensive creams that were in the editorial viewfinder. And I told her then, as a teenager, that one day I would like to try all the cosmetics and go to fashion events. And after a while it happened. It was, of course, a sweetly unconscious idea of a teenage girl, no doubt it's not just about that, it's more like an added value of my work. Quite often I find myself behind the computer creating new articles. And the feeling when you see your finished "work" simply never gets old. And so it is every day.
Are you subject to fashion trends when choosing clothes?
At all. I give at first glance. Love at first sight never worked for me, but love at first "look" - yes (laughs). It has to be there, the piece has to interest me. It happens, of course, that the new thing bought is also a current fashion trend, but this is definitely not the initial intention.
What are your favorite fashion pieces?
My favorite pieces are the newly purchased pieces. Do you also have the feeling that when you buy something, you wait until you buy something else? I'm really terrible at this. However, in general, it's a mix - I'm a minimalist and a maximalist at the same time. Which fully reflects my character - i.e. introverted extrovert or extroverted introvert. You can choose. So in my wardrobe you will find wilderness in the form of colorful tops, shiny dresses, neon heels additionally decorated with feathers, but also timeless comfortable pieces such as oversized sweaters and sweatshirts, beige trench or basic t-shirts and other pieces.
What is important to you when choosing clothes?
Definitely practicality and use. I admit that I also have quite a few pieces that are more - as I like to say - for a photo. It is quite extravagant, but on the other hand, I think that thanks to my profession, it will not be lost and I will use it for many events. So I always ask when choosing - will I use it? And if I don't hesitate, I take it!
How do you spend your free time?
It's probably embarrassing - but reading magazines - yes, I'm not a blacksmith's mare in that regard. And so my escape from reality is fitbox, it's perfect relaxation and letting off steam (highly recommended), then high heel dancing (so I have to get back into it after a break), fitness, taking care of my maids (that's my passion) and last but not least, of course, I spend it with my beloved boyfriend and close friends. In addition, my best friend and I have a joint project "Z Kabinky", in which we point out our two different characters S vs. XL and we try on clothes directly in the booths. It can be said that in a relatively short time we have built a decent fan base that supports us. We've been slacking a lot lately, I must say. Although it doesn't seem like it, it is very demanding on the time that we both have had very little of recently.
What do you like to wear when you have space to yourself?
I like comfort. Like a long cardigan.
How do you take care of yourself?
I love hemp cosmetics, which I've been using for a year now. My skin adores oil cosmetic products - from make-up removing emulsions, masks, to caring day and night oils. My skin is quite sensitive, so I don't want to burden it with many products from different brands. So I'm loyal to one.
How would you define well-being?
When I wake up in the morning with the feeling that I am an honest person who comes to life with a great deal of humility, and who does not need to be ashamed of himself. Because I really set the rule that honesty goes the furthest. And I think I'm done.
